I like the atmosphere, the color blocks and the rough strokes the illustrator used to depict the city and the skyscrapers: Black, grey and dark yellow.
how to depict a metropolis that is always in a rush.
A car crammed with people.
A very strong idea to depict a city: the combination among the landmark architectures, the typical streets and the national flag!
1. The first stage of my work on the briefing day.
2. Then I swapped my sketchbook with ZHONG Junkun, who recorded some noises to convey the feeling of my chaotic lines.
3. Then he swapped his work with Matilde Catalano. So the final stage of this chain turned out to be as followed:
Chain 2
1. The sketchbook I gained.
2. The figure of this sketch looked as if it had been melting, which reminded me of something expressionistic and miserable. The key words included woman, wires, black, slender and crisscross. So a woman who was melting due to agony came across my head. I made some sketches to record this inspiration and then I decided to make a sculpture of kneadable eraser because its kneadability could express the feeling of "melt". I combined the word "crisscross" with my sculpture. The woman tried to grasp the cross in front of her for rescue but that was in vain. The cross was made of paper maché so that it looked damaged.
3. Then I swapped my work with Juuso Anttila and he turned the sculpture into his drawing language.
Chain 3
1. The first stage
2. The second stage from Juuso Anttila
3. The third stage from me. I did some analysis trying capturing the feeling of the animated image and finally drew a storyboard in an abstract way telling a plot of farewell ,in whose three stages the back of the role was gradually disappearing in the crowd.
Eight of us went on a mission to orient ourselves around Shoreditch on 10th October.

We had super tasty Vienamese dishes at Huong Restaurant for lunch.
My sketches. I drew down some items inspiring me greatly.

We met a very gorgeous bulldog there. To take photos is not allowed in this shop. So I just browsed through several magazines and left. But still I found something very inspiring.

Regretably, this shop was closed.

This was my favourite store! Children's books there were particularly cute! Most of them were drawn in a very detailed and traditional way, expressing a cozy feeling.

That was the end of our orienteering. I did have a wonderful day :)
I am fond of the unique visual angle, the accurate perspective, the vivid colour and the crowdedness of the houses expressing the vibrancy of a city.

The vagueness created a mysterious and lonely atmosphere.
The original image is a motional picture. I love its simple color and simple shapes which depict accurately people's reliance on internet and mobile phones in modern life.
It's hard to say wether the artworks of this artist look like dreams or nightmares . He often uses graphite, resin and other materials on mylar or panel and combines elements of industrial society with the great nature.
This image depicts a feeling of summer in a realistic but graphic way. The green wall, which should be white actually, makes people feel refreshed in hot summer. The original image is a motion picture.
